David Lynch: The Art of Life
“David Lynch: The Art Life” is a documentary biopic offering an intimate glimpse of Lynch through the formative years of his life.
Funded through a Kickstarter campaign and directed by Rick Barnes, Jon Nguyen and Olivia Neergaard-Holm, the documentary outlines Lynch’s upbringing from small town America to the streets of Philadelphia, depicting events that have helped shape his enigmatic personality as a man and an artist.
“I think every time you do something, like a painting or whatever, you go with ideas and sometimes the past can conjure those ideas and color them, even if they’re new ideas, the past colors them,” said Lynch, who shares personal stories from his past in the documentary which is dedicated to his daughter.
