17-year-old pop songstress SARA ALINA has teamed with 13-year-old philanthropist ALANNA WALL and her Polished Girlz nonprofit organization to spread joy and entertainment to children with special needs or frequent hospitalizations at facilities across the U.S.

The two will host mini-mani parties (featuring on trend nail art and custom manicures) with SARA ALINA joining the Polished Girlz team to not only polish nails, but also donate concert tickets and gift bags to the children, clients and volunteers of the Polished Girlz in every city where SARA ALINA performs.  These giveaways will reinforce the positive energy created by the mini-mani parties in providing a welcome break for those dealing with illness and hospitalization on a daily basis.  The first event is scheduled for Friday, February 28 at the Ronald McDonald House; it will coincide with SARA ALINA’s Sunday, March 2 appearance at the Teen Party Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“Sara is so amazing, and kind and silly, she is going to be a source of joy to our clients,” ALANNA WALL says.  “It will be a really welcome surprise when they find out how much she cares about them and just wants them to be happy like I do.”

“Alanna is one of the most caring girls I have ever met,” SARA ALINA says.  “The reason her idea for polished girls was so successful is because she cares about everyone around her, making her beautiful!  I am sure that she will continue to inspire young girls around the globe with what she does. She is awesome!”

As the Austrian-born SARA ALINA continues to focus on the recording of her debut album–due out later this year–she’s released three tracks, all of which showcase the young singer/songwriter’s vocal ability and songwriting sensibilities that exhibit maturity beyond her years.  Her new song “Better Days” featuring acclaimed Atlanta rapper Rocko was released last month and has already received more than 700,000 views; the official music video for the song can be seen here: http://youtu.be/ZCrW676asx4.  The track follows two singles SARA ALINA released last year. About SARA ALINA:
Born in Vienna, Austria, SARA was first introduced to music through her father, a musical playwright. From a young age, she was enamored with the classics that were the ever-present soundtrack of her native land. Being immersed in the culture and beauty of Vienna fostered a deep love of the arts. She recorded her first song at the tender age of six. At the time, Pink’s “Get The Party Started” was purely for fun, but as SARA grew, music became more of a driving force in her life. At seven, she began playing the piano, an instrument that would later become the vehicle for creating her music. After moving with her family to Florida when she was 12, SARA discovered writing music as a way to channel her emotions of transitioning from Austria to the U.S. “Everything was BIGGER. About The Polished Girlz (PG):
Polished Girlz is a 501c3 non-profit organization started by Alanna Wall to bring sparkle to the lives of girls and women with special needs or frequent hospitalizations. The company provides trendy nail art/beauty parties as well as one on one companionship/interaction for its clients and national network of Polished Girlz teams. Under the cover of “beauty,” we are teaching our clients the  importance of hand washing.  Hand washing has been proven to reduce infection rates and repeated hospital admissions due to viruses.  The Polished Girlz are no local charity, although founded by Wall at the age of 10, at 13 Alanna’s organization and its volunteers are on par to polish well over 10,000 kids this year alone, and works very closely with the Nailindustry to make sure that their clients have the best of the best. PolishedGirlz has been supported by Industry leaders including Orly, Sally Hansen,Caboodle, and Nail Talk Radio  Celebrity nail techs and leaders in the nail blogging world. And now there will be a bit of music in the lives of their Girlz.
