OVG Concert Series to Host Hometown Celebration Under the Lexington Sky

LEXINGTON, KY (April 28, 2026) – This Independence Day, one of Kentucky’s own is coming home. Rising Christian country star Anne Wilson will take the stage at Gatton Park on Saturday, July 4 as part of the OVG Concert Series, bringing her “Anne Wilson: Faith, Freedom, & Fireworks Celebration” tour to downtown Lexington.

Born and raised in Kentucky, Wilson has quickly become one of the most inspiring voices in contemporary Christian and country music. Known for her breakout hit “My Jesus” and her ability to blend faith, storytelling, and country roots, her return to the Bluegrass State promises to be unforgettable.

The July 4 concert will offer fans a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate the holiday with live music under the Lexington sky. As part of the OVG Concert Series at Gatton Park, the event will feature a dynamic outdoor concert experience designed to complement Lexington’s growing demand for live entertainment while creating a fun, safe, and family-friendly environment for fans of all ages.

Fans can expect a full concert experience, including access to local food trucks, an energetic festival-style atmosphere, and the option to upgrade to the Premium Plaza, which offers an elevated experience with private amenities, a dedicated bar, and guaranteed parking. To make the celebration even more accessible, special family 4-packs will be available, making it easy for families to enjoy the show together.

And the night doesn’t end when the music stops.
