New Jersey hard rock and grunge fusion group Sawmoon release bold new single “Madness”

New Jersey hard rock and grunge fusion group Sawmoon have released their bold new single “Madness”, out now on digital platforms. With a raw, untethered and unfiltered approach, Sawmoon pay tribute to their musical ancestors and continue the tradition of full blast rock and roll. 

 “Madness” started as a jam in the summer of 2019.  Mike started playing this riff and we knew it was special.  The lyrics delve into the cyclical nature of violence and of history repeating itself.  The second verse touches on stories I have heard about migrants seeking asylum in the US. People who endured or witnessed horrific tragedies as they traveled North in hopes of something better for their lives.”

Sawmoon manage to combine authentic emotion-fueled intensity with prog rock-informed musical precision, the unbridled melodic brightness of alternative and grunge, as well as the furious bursts of heavy metal to form a disciplined whole. Fans of artists such as Oceansize, Deftones, Dredg and Blackfield should enjoy this new release.

As the band says, “There’s a madness in the air. There’s a madness everywhere.”
