NYC Folk Singer Songwriter Bill Greenberg releases new single “Swear To God”

New York City Folk Singer Songwriter Bill Greenberg has an uncanny knack for telling incredibly deep, universally themes stories with subtlety, grace and an openness to life’s shadows. Following up his prior single, the extremely relevant and powerful protest song “Ukraine”, Bill opens up with a more personal matter for many on “Swear to God”. “Swear to God” lyrically puts itself in the position of ones who struggles with addiction, intends to make their way through it, telling themselves and those around them why will. Some do make their way through, while for others the task is too looming and insurmountable.

“There’s  always a choice. Prayer sometimes helps….so they say”

Bill Greenberg’s solo material gives a voice to both his musical and philosophical pursuits. New York’s Bill Greenberg has been playing music ever since receiving a guitar from his grandmother for his ninth birthday. Since then he’s toured throughout Germany, Ireland, Belgium, and the USA, with his band, Bill’s Band. Their music, including their 1998 album, ‘Basic Tracks’, as well as more recent singles, ‘Gloria’, and ‘I And I’, are all available on Spotify.

His solo singles include “When I’m Stronger”, the acclaimed Anti-War song “Ukraine”, and new addiction-themed song “Swear to God”.
